On January 25,2010, James Molleur was admitted to the Bar of the United Stated Supreme Court in a ceremony in the Supreme Court courtroom in Washington DC. The admission was coordinated with the admission of over 30 attorneys from the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys (NACBA). Molleur is now permitted to argue appellate cases before the Supreme Court.
The admission to the Supreme Court was scheduled before NACBA's annual Capital Hill meeting, at which NACBA atorneys meet with their legislative delegation to promote positions which will assist inidividuals who are in financial distress and file bankruptcy. Molleur met with Senator Olympia Snowe and enator Susan Collins and Representative Chellie Pingree. These meetings give our legislators the opportunity to learn more about the financial concerns of everyday constituents and help counter the influence of the banking industry.
