Molleur and Sambatakos Attend NACBA

The 2009 NACBA (National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys) Convention was held in Chicago in May. James Molleur and Tanya Sambatakos attended the convention, which is the largest continuing education session for consumer bankruptcy attorneys in the United States. The convention conducts a variety of sessions on timely and important topics of interest to consumer debtor bankrutpcy attorneys. Several sessions this year were devoted to abuses by the mortgage lending industry and litigation techniques to assist debtors in dealing with mortgage debt. Other sessions addressed particular chapter 13 problems which are being litigated across the country, and the integration of consumer law litigation in a consumer bankruptcy practice.
