Getting Started with Foreclosure Defense
We need the following items to begin the foreclosure defense process:
- 2008 Federal and State Income Tax Returns with schedules and W2 forms;
- 2009 Federal and State Income Tax Returns with schedules and W2 forms;
- Last two months’ pay stubs;
- Bank statements covering all accounts for two months;
- Hardship letter (this letter should include a description of why you fell behind on your mortgage payments and what has changed so that you can now make a mortgage payment);
- Fair market value assessment of your home done by a Realtor;
- Completed budget worksheet (download in Excel format to fill in with a computer, or download a PDF to print and fill in by hand);
- Signed Limited Representation Agreement.
Adobe Reader is required to view forms.
Microsoft Excel is required to edit spreadsheets.
