Jim Molleur will attend the national conference for the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys from May 19-22, in San Francisco. At the conference, the best and most dedicated consumer bankruptcy attorneys from across the country will meet to discuss current trends in consumer bankruptcy law, and opportunities for consumers in financial distress to save their homes and otherwise deal with aggressive creditors.
The conference provides the chance to consumer bankruptcy attorneys to learn new techniques in handling creditor collection actions. Classes are also taught in tax issues that arise in bankruptcy cases, and new defenses to student lender collections.
Consumer debtors are being pressured more aggressively than ever, and consumers are not receiving any help from Congress. It is time to fight back and find new ways to help consumers deal with the crushing debt burden they face. Any new techniques we learn will be immediately employed to help Maine consumers address their debts fairly and with dignity.
