We are pleased to announce that Jessica Lewis has joined Molleur Law Office recently. She graduated from Bowdoin College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1998. After teaching high school English for three years, and working in a Portland law firm as a litigation paralegal for two years, Jessica attended Duquesne University School of Law where she earned her J.D. in 2006.
Jessica will represent consumer and small business debtors in Chapter 7, 11 and 13 bankruptcy cases as well as creditors, contract counterparties and defendants with various interests in larger Chapter 11 cases. Prior to joining Molleur Law Office, Jessica worked at Bernstein Shur Sawyer and Nelson in Portland, where she represented corporate debtors, creditors, parties to executory contracts and preference defendants in regional and national bankruptcy cases.
Jessica's experience in Chapter 11 cases will enable Molleur Law Office to expand its growing practice in individual and small business Chapter 11 cases, as well as provide advice to financially distressed clients in both consumer and business situations.
