Attorney Chris Keach, first joined Molleur Law part-time in August 2015 and then became an associate in November 2015. This welcome is long overdue for Chris! In the time Chris has been here, he has been an invaluable addition to both the bankruptcy and consumer rights litigation groups. Chris has represented debtors in chapter 7 and 13 bankruptcy hearings in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court and has recently become an integral part of the consumer rights litigation group. Chris has quickly learned about mortgaging servicing abuses and is active in pursuing claims under the Bankruptcy Automatic Stay and Discharge Injunction provisions, Real Estate Settlement Practices Act, Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act, and Maine Unfair Trade Practices Act on behalf of Maine consumers. Chris’s excellent research and writing skills, along with his straightforward yet patient approach with clients makes him uniquely qualified for this work. Elizabeth Ann Miller, Esq.
Molleur Law is also very excited to announce that attorney Elizabeth Miller, has joined the firm as Of Counsel. Elizabeth will be working in the consumer rights group where her extensive knowledge of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and Fair Credit Reporting Act will benefit clients greatly. Elizabeth has almost 25 years of experience advocating on behalf of consumers. She has worked with the National Consumer Law Center and in private practice pursuing litigation on behalf of consumers, including class actions, under the Truth in Lending Act, Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, Fair Credit Billing Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act, Consumer Leasing Act, and Massachusetts consumer protection laws.
