Jim Molleur was a speaker at the 2013 Southeastern Bankuptcy Law Institute (SBLI) Conference in Atlanta, Georgia from March 21-23, 2013.  The SBLI is a non-profit legal education organzation founded in 1974, dedicated to presenting an annual conference on bankruptcy law.  It is one of the oldest bankruptcy conferences in the country.  The SBLI seeks bankruptcy attorneys and Judges from across the country who are experts in bankruptcy law to speak on current trends and developments.  Each speaker presents on two topics of interest to banruptcy attorneys during the three day conference. 

Jim spoke to the consumer bankruptcy attorneys on the topics of dischargeability of debts under Section 523 of the Bankruptcy Code and reaffirmation, redemption, and surrender of personal property in Chapter 7 cases.    Both topics were well attended and well received by the attendees.  It as an honor to be asked to particiapte in this well known and respected conference.  All the speakers prepared interesting and thoughtful analyses of hot topics in bankruptcy. Approximately 500 attorneys attended the conference, principally from the southeastern part of the country.
