Tanya Sambatakos, an associate in the office, recently attended a NACA (National Association of Consumer Attorneys) conference in St. Louis, Missouri.  The conference focused on remedies available to consumers harmed by predatory lending.   The conference topics included litigation and negotiation techniques available to attorneys who seek to protect the interests of consumers.  Predatory lending is an area of law which is rapidly developing and it is critical for consumer attorneys to learn the most advanced and effective means of helping consumers through the devastating problems associated with losing a home because of predatory lending.

Tanya looks forward using her new skills to assist our clients fight back against mortgage company greed and bad faith.  We expect that we will provide even more advanced techniques to benefit our clients to save their homes and reduce the number of foreclosures in Maine.
