COVID-19: Update #1

COVID 19 Bankruptcy Law Maine Molleur Law

We are all in the midst of unsettling times. While public health has been the government’s primary focus, they are now beginning to address the crippling byproduct of the shutdown: widespread financial instability.

During this time, we want you to know we are here for you. We are working remotely, but we’re open and we’re continuing to offer free consultations and answer your questions. If you’re currently experiencing financial hardship, we can guide you to appropriate resources and and help you make informed decisions. To schedule a virtual meeting, use our contact form or send us an email.

Courts are also adapting to the ongoing changes. Recently, our founder, Jim Molleur, was on a panel with the US Trustee for the 1st and 2nd Circuits. The discussion included identifying opportunities that will help everyone work more efficiently. For example, programs like Docusign and the flexibility to meet remotely reduce the amount of paperwork and travel for everyone involved.

Here on the blog, we’ll continue to keep you updated with new changes and resources as they become available. In the meantime, please don’t hesitate to contact us with your questions.

Take care and be well,
The Molleur Law Family
